Fresh Strawberry Mojito

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
  • 2 ripe strawberries
  • ½ tablespoon agave nectar, or more to taste
  • 3 ounces silver rum
  • ¼ lime, juiced
  • ¼ cup lime-flavored sparkling water (such as La Croix®), or as needed
  • 1 cup ice, or as needed

Cooking Directions

  1. Place mint into the bottom of a cocktail shaker and muddle for 15 to 20 seconds. Add strawberries and muddle until juicy. Pour in rum, agave, and lime juice. Add ice and shake.
  2. Pour into a glass and add sparkling water. Stir together using a straw.
Can use simple syrup (sugar melted in water) instead of agave. Dragonberry Bacardi(R) rum works well too, but cut down on agave/ sugar; You can use club soda instead of flavored sparkling water, if you'd like.
